This course provides ophthalmic knowledge and an understanding of the principles of ophthalmic assisting to aid in training in an ophthalmic or optometry practice.

It includes theoretical components suh as basic eye anatomy & common eye disorders. It also covers practical skills, such as medical history taking and vision assessment, as well as more specialised testing procedures such as OCT and visual field testing.
